This piece was made during my workshop Plates and Platters: Enamel on Steel with Rachel Kedinger. I decided to enamel zebra stripes to align with the rest of my African wildlife work and aesthetic. The decision to make a personal pan pizza paddle came from pizza being a comfort food for me. Therefore, incorporating that aspect into one of the main objects I wanted to make.
